Inconel 625, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, is another superalloy that is commonly used in chemical processing, marine engineering, petrochemical, and oil and gas offshore industries.

It is very resistant to both reducing and oxidizing acids, stress-corrosion cracking, and localized attacks such pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 is highly resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
