The martensitic grade 410 stainless steel is the standard. It offers excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance due to its 11.5% chromium alloy content. This material is not easily corroded by air, food, water, mild acids, or most chemicals. It also demonstrates resistance to diluted acetic acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, naphtha, and nitric acid. Excellent mechanical qualities and resistance to general corrosion are obtained when this material is tempered or hardened.
The SS 410 Pipes & Tubes are utilized in a variety of applications. This is primarily due to the different qualities that it possesses. High yielding strength, high tensile strength, dimensional correctness, and smooth surface finishes are a few advantageous qualities. In addition, it is anti-corrosive, long-lasting, capable of welding, and able to handle high temperatures and high pressure environments. It also withstands a variety of acids and ordinary corrosion.
