ASME SA 335 Gr P1 Alloy Steel Pipes are heat treated to achieve mechanical qualities consistent with the chosen alloying element. ASTM A335 Alloy Steel Grade P1. Seamless Pipes are steel pipes that have been treated with chromium, molybdenum, and, on occasion, vanadium.

ASMESA335 Alloy Steel Grade P1 Seamless Pipes are reheated and supplied in complete annealed, isothermal annealed, or normalized quenched and tempered conditions. In general, ASME SA335 Alloy Steel Grade P1 Pipes are classified as alloy steel pipes when the concentration of manganese (1.65%), silicon (0.6%), and copper (0.6%) exceeds the specified level.
